AAPI Alliance is composed of parents and individuals who identify as allies of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) people and are committed to empowering AAPI students and their community. 

Beginning in 2021, we were inspired to fill the need for an organization that could promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB). Our community recognized the deficiency and thus began the work of gathering a core group of committed members who shared the same vision. 

With the support of our School district, Santa Monica Malibu Unified, and key community leaders, a Board of Directors established AAPI Alliance in February 2023 with the hope of fulfilling this unique purpose: 

To support AAPI students and their community by promoting cultural heritage, advocating for their rights, and empowering them to achieve their full potential. 

Today, we are a not-for-profit organization that welcomes individuals who want to encourage and inspire students to thrive in our ever-changing world! As an organization that focuses specifically on AAPI issues, we strive to make a significant impact on our community by being a strong voice for the AAPI community within our multicultural society.
